One of the best ways to get involved and feel connected at Post Road is by joining one of our ministry teams. Whether you are interested in working with kids, greeting people, providing transportation for shut-ins, playing an instrument, answering phones or planting flowers, there are a variety of teams that will help you connect here at Post Road. Whatever your personality or available time, joining a team is a great way to meet people and feel connected.
TOP TEN FIRST SERVE OPPORTUNITIES
1. 5th Quarters -- Serve 4 hours on a Friday night, assisting with the supervision of teens here on our campus after Warren Central High School home football games. Dates: August 22, Sept. 5 & 12, Oct. 3 & 10, 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Contact Jeff Stalnaker or Bonnie Banton at 898-4945.
2. Weekday Receptionist -- Serve a 4-hour shift answering phones and doing light clerical work in the church office, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Contact Cheryl Kemple at 898-4945.
3. Portrait Appointment Host(ess) -- Help people sign in for their portrait appointments (Sept. 3-6 and 17-20, daytime, evening and weekend hours). Contact Barb Pryor at 898-4945, x101.
4. Substitute Teacher-- Serve as a substitute classroom assistant in Children's Ministry, Sundays at 9:45 or 11 a.m. Contact Dawn Gentry at 898-4945, x222.
5. Lock-in -- Serve a 4 hour shift (or all night) supervising Middle School students at the lock-in on Friday, November 14. Contact Jeff Stalnaker or Bonnie Banton at 898-4945.
6. Flower Bed Weeding -- Weed flower beds during the summer months. Contact Roland Galyean at 891-2668.
7. Spread Mulch -- Spread mulch on both playgrounds. Contact Dawn Gentry at 898-4945, x111.
8. Greeter -- Greet guests, attendees, and members as they enter the building on Sunday mornings. Contact Stephanie Schmitt 861-3709.
9. The Watch Prayer Team -- Become a member of the PRCC prayer team to pray the church. Contact Shelley Johnson at 562-0195.
10. Evening Childcare -- Serve in Sunday or Wednesday evening childcare. Sundays @ 5:15 p.m., Wednesdays @ 6:15 p.m. Contact Dawn Gentry at 898-4945, x111.
