Children
We exist to assist parents in discipling kids so they:
GROW in love for God and others
KNOW God's Word
SHOW Christ's character; and
GO tell friends about Jesus
We love children ... and want to provide the best possible Christian education and experiences enabling them to know God and His love for them.
To that end, graded Sunday School classes are provided for all ages, including quality nursery and toddler care at the 9:45 and 11 a.m. services. Children's Church for kids in Kindergarten through 5th Grade meets at 11 a.m. (June is Family Month, Children's Church does not meet at 11 a.m.)
The Kids Post Praise (KPP) Children's Choir meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. from September through May. A Christmas program is presented in early December and a Spring program in early May. This choir provides children with a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Lord through music, worship, and drama -- not to mention the fun of hanging out with other kids every week. KPP welcomes children ages 3 years old (must be toilet trained) through 5th grade. For more info, contact agonzale@indygov.org. (KPP is on break until September)
If you plan on visiting the church and have children that will be attending Sunday School classes or Children's Church, save some time by printing out the Family Enrollment Form and filling it out before coming. Stop by the Kid's Registration Table in the lobby when you first arrive.
Interested in volunteering in the Children's or Student Ministry? Fill out the Volunteer Application and submit it to Dawn Gentry (children's) or Jeff Stalnaker (students).
VBS was a splashin' good time! Check out the fun here.
